Free File Wiper is a tool that, once running (it does not require installation), places a small trashcan icon on the lower right corner of your screen. You can then drag any file or folder onto it in order to permanently eliminate it.
Files which are sent through this process will be rendered unrecoverable because the areas which are 'freed up' on your hard drive will quickly be overwritten with standard patterns.
Even though the icon appears on the lower corner of the screen by default, you can move it and put it wherever you want. You can even change how opaque it is if you feel that it is a bit bothersome.
Free File Wiper is very useful for any user who wants to truly erase certain files, because they can usually be recovered quite easily using simple recovery methods.
